Closing this transaction enables the integration of Datarock’s AI-powered geoscience technology with IMDEX’s growing Digital Earth Knowledge (DEK) portfolio, including HUB-IQ™i, aiSIRIS™ii, MinePortal™iii, and Earth Science Analytics’ EarthNETiv platform. Collectively, these offerings create a unified, open ecosystem for earth systems data, delivering value to customers by reducing uncertainty, improving productivity and unlocking greater value from high-quality subsurface data.

- Enabling a unified earth systems platform: Datarock’s cloud native technology becomes a core strategic asset within IMDEX’s digital ecosystem, strengthening IMDEX’s ability to deliver end-to-end resource workflows that link drilling, geological, geotechnical and operational data – creating a foundation for multi commodity and multi-sector growth.

IMDEX’s global footprint, supporting growth in both mining and adjacent resource markets.
Financial Impact
- Full P&L consolidation from 1 February 2026, with 100% of Datarock’s revenue and operating result recognised.
- The remaining equity has been acquired for ~A$31 million bringing IMDEX’s ownership to 100%.
- Datarock’s financial performance for the period to 31 December 2025, together with its expected contribution to the group, will be outlined at IMDEX’s 1H26 results presentation on 23 February 2026.
