COM 2024 Annual Conf. of Metallurgists

The Annual Conference of Metallurgists (COM) is considered the Premier event for metallurgists and materials science professionals in Canada.

MEXICO: XIV Congreso Internacional Minero Sonora 2024      

The largest Mining Congress in Mexico

The International Mining Congress of Sonora was created in 1995 as a local event in which the advances and services of the different mining companies in the region were presented; As time went by, its prestige grew as it turned out to be the ideal setting to position companies in the sights of potential national and foreign clients.

 Fexmin      

With great enthusiasm we have started the organization of a new version of the Exploration and Mining Convention, FEXMIN 2024 whose motto will be “New Deposits for Mining Development”. We are motivated, like in previous versions, by the certainty of the great geological potential of our country and the continent, and the confidence that the future of mining is based on a permanent and successful exploration.

The fair will be face-to-face and we will be transmitting the conferences and projects exhibitions through streaming, for those who can not attend personally. It will again be held at Espacio Riesco, the largest event center in Santiago, on August 27, 28 and 29, 2024, coinciding with the “Month of Mining” in Chile. We hope to have, like on previous occasions, the support and participation of the exploration and mining sector.

Prior to that date, we started on March of this year, the monthly talk program “Road to FEXMIN 2024”, which consists of exhibitions of diverse and attractive exploration projects, interspersed with conferences by leading geologists and industry professionals, on topics of metallogenesis and others of interest for mining exploration. Both talks and conferences are transmitted over the internet through Netmin’s virtual platform.

As in previous versions, we will do our best so that FEXMIN 2024 grows and consolidates itself as a great meeting place for the Community of Chilean and foreign Explorers, with a wide participation of investors from all latitudes. We will also have ample space to present mining projects, prospects and concessions, and promote service companies and suppliers of Geology and Exploration."

With its 1st Edition 2023, the EXPOCOBRE World Mining Fair has quickly become the unmissable national exhibition, showcasing machinery, equipment, products, services and supplies for the copper mining industry. Currently, EXPOCOBRE is the only event that brings together the main potential players in the sector and is the ideal platform for suppliers and buyers to conduct face-to-face business and learn about the latest industry trends and establish contacts with the most important world leaders.

After a resounding success, EXPOCOBRE launches the date for its second edition 2024! That is, the copper mining sector will meet again from October 28th to 31st at the Jockey Exhibition Center, Lima - Peru. On the one hand, the objective for this second edition will be to create the best conditions for good business and new markets through first class meetings and academic activities. On the other hand, EXPOCOBRE will seek to surpass the successful first edition.

               

Congreso Peruano de Geologia 

This event is organized by the Geological Society of Peru. It’s goal is to bring together professionals in the geosciences and related fields in the country.

 The congress is organized in conjunction with the II Foro de Fomento de Inversión en Proyectos Mineros – FIPMIN, a new event aimed at bringing together representatives of Peruvian mining projects and prospects with potential investors, including a session on technological advances in mining exploration.

 Resource geology experts will be available to meet with attendees and share ideas on mining projects and solutions.

 In addition, innovative geological discoveries, earth science research and applied geology will be shared to showcase cutting-edge technology and best practices for achieving sustainability and harnessing natural resources for the country’s development.
