CIA MINERA CASCABEL S.A. de C.V. and IMDEX Inc. were organized in 1988 to provide contract exploration services in Mexico. Both are privately held corporations. Since then, IMDEX/CASCABEL personnel have undertaken projects for over 100 clients, throughout Mexico and 5 other Latin American countries. Our work includes a broad range of successfully completed programs including some in the most logistically and culturally difficult areas of Latin America. Between 1998 and 2001 we also performed contract 1:50,000 geological mapping and sampling for the Consejo de Recursos Minerales, the Mexican Geological Survey now known as SGM.
IMDEX/Cascabel also have contractually inherited and/or actively acquired by application and sorteo major exploration plays in significant past producing districts in Mexico over the last 21 years. These include: Batopilas District (Ag), Santa Eulalia District (polymetallic Ag, Pb,Zn), Jibosa de Los Reyes in the Jimenez District (CuOxide) and the La Bufa District (Cu, Au).
Since around 2000 our forte has become either directly or indirectly moving stellar exploration properties into the portfolios of sucessful Junior Mining companies actively engaged in Mexico. In many cases these turn out to be the flagship properties around which those companies are built. In some cases like Excellon Resources (EXN) Platosa Mine, they become the primary producing property responsible for generating the revenue required for further growth and development.
